weekend performances. Stop by for some great food, drink and good treVeld
vibes! Thanks to Patte, Mark and the awesome Erte staff for your long
standing support! We're grateful
for the opportunity to be performing more frequently at this wonderful venue
in Cannon Falls MN. The winery is a sweet space to hang out with friends,
enjoy a great selection of local wines and listen to music. To our great satisfaction, Mendoberri has
become another semi-regular venue for us. Enjoy delicious local, fresh,
organic food and drink in this beautiful and inviting space. * Performance
dates & details for our Frequent Venues are listed at the bottom of the
page. ~ ~ ~ In
the Mix We thoroughly
enjoyed our Heyde Center for the Arts show,
where we were warmly welcomed by both local Chippewa Falls
WI folks and our Twin Cities friends who made the journey to be with
us in this beautifully restored theater. Many thanks to Ann Hansen (Author and all
around great person) and Debra
Johnson (Executive Director of the
CVCA) for all of your help in making this event happen. Thanks as well to
Stephanie Elkins, host of WPR's Simply Folk, for
introducing her listeners to treVeld. We'd love to come back for another
Heyde show, so if you're so motivated, please help us spread Wisconsin
treVeld consciousness by requesting our music be played on Simply Folk, which
you can do here - Simply Folk Request Line.
Of course it wouldn't hurt to also drop Debra Johnson
a hint that you'd like to see us return to the Heyde. "What a
fabulous show! You three sound great on CD, but in live performance you're
amazing. The music is so refreshingly different and engaging - who would've
thought you could put those instruments together in the hands of Midwesterners
and come up with such great stuff! The coolest
thing for me is the uniqueness and attractiveness of the sound - There's no
shortage of pop/country/folk guitar players and classical strings musicians
out there; you three have something different that is really lovely! My wish and hope
for TreVeld is that you continue to build a name, a following, and a
repertoire, and that we can welcome you back to the Heyde Center again with a
full house! (And then, of course, you will leave for a world tour and wow the
crowned heads of Europe, the tribal chiefs of Africa, the moguls and Mongols
of Asia, finally to return to play Carnegie Hall . .. . )" Ann Hansen . . . We had a great
time performing on WCCO Television's Saturday Morning Show in March, which we
did as a promotion for our Music Under Glass performance at the McNeely
Conservatory in Como Park. The Conservatory show was a wonderful happening. There
were a record number of people in attendance for this great event and we much
enjoyed absorbing the beauty and moisture of the sunken garden space as we
shared our music. Sunset on that clear day made for an amazing atmosphere
inside the garden. We're hoping to return for this music series next year. To see video of
this event and more, check out our website's Video
& News pages and our Youtube treVeld channel.
. .
. We're glad to
report that our second recording project is coming along nicely as we
continue to make good progress towards its completion. This is our third run
at this project, which we trust will be the final charm! Our tentative
working title for treVeld II is Falling,
which will contain 15 of our newest works. We're aiming for a 2013 release,
so stay tuned. Thanks again to all who've been patiently waiting for us to offer
up our next recording. Your continued patience and support are greatly
appreciated! ~ ~ ~ If
you like what you hear… we'd love your help in spreading the word
about treVeld. In addition to food
and drink venues, we also enjoy performing for concerts, festivals, weddings and
private events. We continue to meet wonderful people on our musical
adventures, many of whom have been incredibly supportive and encouraging. The
majority of our performing schedule is manifest via personal connections and
referrals from those who like our music and tell others. Thank you to the
many that have already helped us along this path! Facebook is a
good place to connect with treVeld. Email and telephone are very much
encouraged as well. Phone: Philip

Sharing the love from friends of treVeld . . . "Thank you to all of you for
providing your wonderful music! I have to pass on what I heard after you played
Buffalo Skies - I was standing in the back of the room, and when the song was
done the momentary silence of the crowd was broken as the man sitting at the
table next to me let out a quiet "Wow"! That pretty much sums up
that song. I cannot believe the emotion you put into that tune." "We
heard you at the Three Rivers Valentine event at Richardson park. We loved
your music!" "My wife wrote on Facebook
that it was "The Best Valentine's Ever!". High praise; it was our 37th
Valentine's Day. Thanks gentlemen." "We loved having you! You guys make beautiful music." "My mother, a few of her
friends, and I saw you all play at Erte this past weekend on Saturday. We
bought two of your CD's and absolutely love the tracks. I lived in Ireland
for 6 months last year studying abroad and miss the live music - your band
really reminded me of what I was so used to hearing regularly in Ireland. I
really enjoy listening to your music!!" "I was listening to Pandora at work, and immediately
loved your sound when "Square Not" began playing. I looked up your
bio which led me to your website. Shame I live in WA, but at least I am aware
of your presence now. I look forward to listening and sharing." "We've been telling people
about tonight for weeks, and treVeld was even better than I promised, which
was pretty high stuff to begin with. Your hearts were in your fingers tonight
and they flowed out in the sweet, sweet music." "Beautiful setting and beautiful music!
Wow!" "Bill ,
Dustin & Phillip you guys knocked it out park, last night, at Mendoberri.
Thank you." "Really enjoyed the performance at Como's Music
Under Glass!" "Saw you on WCCO this
morning. Love love the music." "Great show! thanks for treVeld-ing to Chippewa Falls,
WI" "WOW!" |
